The Umbilical Cord is a unique Dual Action car lead, designed to power your c D–Light™s or recharge your Elektr*Light™ battery pack. Very easy to use—by simply plugging it into the 12V Car Accessory socket, this Umbilical Cord incorporates several exclusive design characteristics.

Such as gold–plated contacts in the multi–pin connectors. Generally reserved for precision telecommunications or military applications, these special connectors protect against corrosion, concurrently allowing for pin redundancy that enhances reliability. And improved functionality, as there’s the secret ability to be controlled later on with other accessories. (Shhh, that’s still classified R&D information.)

Another innovation is the use of rainbow–cable. With its lower than normal resistance, there is less power loss along the length of power cord, meaning brighter lights. Available in optional 1.2m, 1.8m, 2.4m or custom cable lengths, the Umbilical Cord thus allows you to choose the ideal power cord length for your vehicle. Moreover, this ribbon cabling is highly adaptable, permitting flexible positioning of connectors, multiple lamp connection and serial extendability. So no matter what your lighting vision may be, there’s a suitable Umbilical Cord out there, just waiting to turn your dreams into reality…
