Portable light? No problems. The “Elektr*Light™” Battery Pack is the alias for you. Ideal for when you don’t want to be tied down, just attach it to the c D–Light™ and go, go, go… Instantly plug–able, the modular, slim–line, 14V Elektr*Light™ battery system mates exactly with the c D–Light™ unit. Compact, lightweight and versatile, your mobile, lit message now glows with full brightness for up to 4 hours, and is visible for a further 4 or so hours.

The good news is that at only 1cent per recharge, with several hundred recharges in optimal conditions, the Elektr*Light™ is super economical! Not only efficient—meaning longer enjoyment for you, but more importantly it’s environmentally friendly too! That’s because there is no Cadmium (Cd) in the Elektr*Light™ battery pack.

Comprising eleven individual, state–of–the–art NiMH rechargeable prismatic batteries (like in mobile phones), with input protection against battery reversal, output short–circuit protection with reset–able electronic fuse, and battery failure protection for added reliability, the Elektr*Light™ can be left trickle–charging indefinitely. It is safely protected from over–charging, thus protecting batteries, maximising battery life and minimising harm to our earth.

Easy to use—there’s no need to disconnect the Elektr*Light™ from the c D–Light™ during charging either. Just turn the c D–Light™ off, and charging will commence. With its Power–on LED Indicator, you know exactly whether your battery pack is correctly connected and being charged. Its self–adjusting slow charge system typically recharges at less than 60mA, directly from the AC/DC plug–pack or 12V car accessory cable, that the c D–Light™s also run on, and handles up to 16—18 V.
