“Cookies” — Information Stored Automatically by your browser
When you view one of our web sites, we may automatically store some data on your computer in the form of a “cookie". A cookie is a piece of text that allows our web server to store ‘state’ information on your machine’s hard disk and later retrieve it. Being text and not a program, cookies cannot run like programs do. They are unable to gather any information on their own, cannot look at another cookie, nor can they view or collect any personal information about you from your machine other than the data our web site has itself stored on your machine.
Cookies provide capabilities that make the web much easier to navigate, thus affording a better user experience. For example, by allowing us to automatically recognise your PC next time you visit, we can tailor our web site to better match your interests, storing your own individual user preferences, browser state, shopping cart state, contents, wishlist and quick checkout options. Cookies can help you in many other ways too — remembering what state various functionalities were in alleviates the need to re–enter information and can decrease wait and download times as you move between pages.
If you do not wish to receive cookies, or wish to selectively accept cookies, you will need to configure your Internet browser to erase all cookies from your computer’s hard drive, block cookies altogether or alternatively, to receive a warning before a cookie is stored. Please note that www.eotr.com requires cookies to be enabled, however, you may choose to delete these cookies as soon as you have finished browsing.
