Hi this is DJ Mel and welcome to EOTR’s Saturday Night Fever.   And here it is — the NEW HIT on the LED LIGHTING CHARTS TOP FORTY.   A brand new cover of a golden oldie.   Yes that’s right, “It’s My Party” by the fabulous c D–Light™!!!

I certainly would because — Oh man, that’s a great new cover.   We’re here broadcasting live from THE PARTY where it’s all happening with a wicked rage of mood lighting colour all around me.   And the totally awesome thing is, every time we play c D–Light™ we notice something new :–

Like Angel over there in the corner on the first barrel, who’s a little blue because her hot date has disappeared.   Nobody knows where her Johnny has gone.

But here’s the scandal… See Scarlet, the hot babe in the other corner who’s busy setting a devilish guy–trap with red–hot passion and whisky.   Look out — Johnny Walker’s keeping her company!

Not that Speedy Gonzales has noticed.   Speedy, the amigos who’s playin’ the pianola, drinkin’ the tequila and dancin’ all night, just wants to B!!!   Hap–pee!!   (hic).   Watch out for his bad jokes though.   (Why did the Mexican push his wife over the cliff?   Tequila.)

Meanwhile our mate Lesley Gore’s setting himself up to have a bad headache tomorrow.   Totally “Bundied Out” and feeling a little green after a whole bottle of rum, he’s already got a head like a bear.   It’s best we leave him alone for a while…

Oh look — Jude and Jenny just walked through the door, making a beeline for the bar.   No mistaking who’s glass is whose — these ones are colour coded with personalised glowing LED light coasters.   Too cool!!!

How cool?   Man, you should be here!   THIS IS HOW YOU SHOULD PARTY!

Even the bottles take on a light of their own.   Classy top shelf spirits, a battalion of glasses fortified in solid wood strongrooms, two adorable but loose–cannon, teddy–bear bar–tenders preparing a war of cocktails and slammers for their future millionaire glitterati guests.   That’s me — I’m here.

And I haven’t even started to tell you about the floorshows.   Right now the spotlight’s on a prize wild bull nicknamed “Evil Inside” and suave bull–fighter Don Juan, the Diablo who woos–and–wins every senorita’s heart.
